Some yellow teeth’s are because of too much tobacco usage or the kind of food and drink one consume especially acidic foods and sometimes it’s a gene that’s in the family. Teeth whitening is safe and effective but is recommended to be done under a dentist’s supervision. In today’s article, I’ll be showing you how to use orange peels for teeth whitening that you can do at home.
The albedo or white part of the orange peel contains vitamin C, pectin, limonene, glucarate and soluble fiber which act as natural teeth whiteners and it’s safe to be used at home but you must follow the guidelines stated here.
How do I use orange peels for teeth whitening?
1. Wash and peel the orange
2. Alply the white part of the peel over your teeth.
3. Leave the juice on your teeth for about 5-10 minutes then brush if off to remove the pulp and peel.
Note: make sure that the orange is thoroughly washed before peeling to remove dirt and other bacteria
Other fruits that contain natural bleaching agents that can be used for teeth whitening are lemons, strawberries, apples and raisins.
